Mercy Break!

The Catholic Church declared 2016 the Jubilee Year of Mercy. To celebrate, the Missionaries of the Precious Blood are posting “Mercy Breaks” to encourage people to show mercy and compassion to people in their lives. I thought it was a neat idea, so I will share them with you as well.

Mercy Break - FinalMercy Break: Send an encouraging text or tweet to a friend facing tough times.

“As Missionaries of the Precious Blood, we feel a special connection with the Jubilee Year of Mercy. Can there be anything more merciful than Jesus shedding his Precious Blood for us? So in honor of the Jubilee Year, we’re offering Mercy Breaks — short and (we hope) doable suggestions for demonstrating the Father’s mercy.”
