It’s a troublesome world.

It’s a troublesome world. All the people who are in it are troubled with troubles ‘most every minute. You ought to be thankful a whole heaping lot for the places and people you are lucky your not.

– Theodore Geisel (a.k.a Dr. Seuss)

I had a rough week last week. I was down and frustrated. I fell into the “self-pity mode”. Then, I remembered this quote from Dr. Seuss who is my favorite person in the world. Right now, I can think of a whole list of people that I am thankful I am not. Not because they are bad people, but because my life, even with its ups and downs, seems to be a whole lot easier compared to theirs.
